Doctor’s introduction to HOMOEOPATHY
Dr. Shweta’s personal odyssey into the world of homoeopathy commenced during her second year of undergraduate studies. It as a pivotal moment when her brother encountered a severe bout of acute appendicitis. Despite consulting with several gastroenterologists, all of whom recommended immediate surgery, she decided to seek counsel from the eminent doctor at her institution. This experienced practitioner, taking a homoeopathic approach, prescribed a course of treatment spanning 15 days.
Surprisingly, the homoeopathic medicine the doctor gave her brother didn’t just make his pain and fever go away, it also stopped his appendicitis from coming back, which amazed Dr. Shweta and her family. Witnessing this astounding transformation, Dr. Shweta’s fascination with homeopathy was ignited. She delved into the subject with newfound zeal, dedicating herself to a rigorous study of its principles.
In her second year of college, she embarked on her professional journey by actively taking up cases, initially among her circle of relatives and friends. The compelling outcomes achieved through homeopathic interventions served to deepen her faith in the efficacy of this healing system. Dr. Shweta’s journey in the field of homeopathy has been nothing short of remarkable. It all began during her internship, where she actively engaged in taking on cases, particularly those of a chronic nature. Her passion and dedication were so evident that some patients preferred to consult her over senior doctors in the hospital’s OPD. As fate would have it, she completed her internship in March 2020, just as the world was grappling with the onset of the COVID-19 epidemic. Ten days into the lockdown, she was deeply troubled by the alarming news of the virus spreading aggressively, and the prevailing belief that there was no known cure. Dr. Shweta, however, held a different conviction – she firmly believed that homoeopathy could play a pivotal role in managing the COVID crisis. At that time, the symptoms of the virus were still emerging, and homeopathy’s unique approach, based on the similarity of symptoms, presented an opportunity to make a difference.
With determination and the support of her father, Dr. Shweta reached out to the health minister of her state. Dr. Shweta embarked on a mission to distribute preventive homeopathic medicines to over 25000 patients, a substantial number of whom remained safe from the virus.
In the present day, Dr. Shweta operates two thriving clinics in the region of Punjab. Her reach extends far beyond geographical boundaries, as she extends her healing touch to patients across India and even overseas through online consultations.
